The students of the Clemens-Brentano-Gymnasium in Dülmen, under the direction of teacher Ingrid Schürmann, have been working for our charity for many years. The Mary's Meals Group regularly plans and carries out activities to raise funds and donations in kind to help children in need.
This time they tried something new during Lent: the mug campaign "Full cups against hunger". Here, a standard mug with two stickers can be used to transform it into a collecting mug. This way they collected in the neighbourhood and in the family. A total of 4,428.51 euros were raised. That corresponds to about 60,000 meals!
Now you can see a group film about the collection on the YouTube channel of Mary's Meals Germany. With this video, they want to encourage other schools to join in and initiate campaigns against hunger for children in need.
This success has encouraged us to repeat the cup action next year on a grand scale. If you are interested in the stickers, please contact us. Soon we will also set up an order form here on the students page.
